After earning the hotel management degree as well as the certificate in PR and Marketing she took a variety of courses at the renowned Cornell University. She broadened her national and international network of luxury tourism, especially during her many years as Director of Sales, Marketing and PR at the famous Hotel Baur au Lac in Zurich. Today, she looks back to more than 20 years of experience in the luxury hotel and travel industry.

Roman Mehrow looks back on over 20 years of experience in the Swiss tourism industry. Following his education at the famous Kuoni agency in Berne, where he took his first steps as travel consultant, he travelled the world as flight attendant for Swissair and Swiss, gathering impressions of exotic destinations. Back on the ground he was significantly involved in establishing the brand Globus Reisen as Head Competence Center. He subsequently ran Kuoni Concierge for 4 years, until finally deciding in 2013 to set out on his own with RSelection. An avid Skier and mountaineer, he draws from his profound knowledge and passion for his beautiful home country to create Suisse Selection’s individual, custom-made travel experiences.

Stefano discovered his passion for hospitality and travel at an early age, growing up in a family deeply rooted in the ownership and management of hotels and restaurants. Immersed in this world from the beginning, he naturally developed a strong appreciation for service culture, exceptional guest experiences, and the meticulous attention to detail required to deliver excellence.

His career spans a diverse range of high-end hospitality environments. From leading hotel operations as a director and supporting prestigious hotel openings, to providing ultra-personalized services in the yachting industry as a skipper and butler, Stefano has cultivated a rare, well-rounded understanding of luxury service from multiple perspectives. He further strengthened his expertise within five-star luxury hotel settings, including several years with the Dorchester Collection. There, he refined his skills in concierge services, guest experience design, and duty management for ultra-high-net-worth individuals, consistently delivering discreet, seamless and highly personalized service.

Working closely with an international clientele, Stefano gained extensive hands-on experience in VIP arrivals, bespoke itinerary creation, and the orchestration of tailor-made services. His deep understanding of cultural nuances and refined service standards allows him to anticipate needs and exceed expectations with quiet precision.

Hospitality is in Sina Varry’s DNA. Raised in an environment shaped by excellence in luxury service, with her father serving for many years as Chef Concierge at the iconic five-star Hotel Baur au Lac in Zurich and her mother working in the luxury hospitality industry, Sina developed an innate understanding of refined service and exceptional guest care from an early age.

Her professional journey began at the prestigious Park Hyatt Zurich, where she completed a three-year apprenticeship within one of the world’s leading luxury hotel brands. There, she gained hands-on experience in high-end hotel operations and guest relations, mastering the precision, discretion and attention to detail that define world-class hospitality.

Eager to broaden her international perspective, Sina spent a year in Norway, embracing a new culture and gaining valuable global exposure. Upon returning to Switzerland she completed the Federal Vocational Baccalaureate, strengthening her business acumen and strategic understanding of the hospitality industry.

Today, as Operations Assistant at Suisse Selection, Sina combines her passion for luxury travel in Switzerland with a fresh, dynamic mindset. With a keen eye for detail and a genuine dedication to excellence, she assists in crafting seamless, tailor-made journeys with precision, care, and a genuine passion for exceptional service.
