Baur Au Lac

Opened in 1844, Zurich’s hotel Baur au Lac, boasts a history as breathtaking as it’s Alps and lakeside setting. Guests are drawn to the grande dame hotel for it’s stunning views, private park on the lake shore and location to Zurich's historic sites as well as the Bahnhofstrasse, a fabulous shopping street. Of the hotel’s four dining options, the al fresco Terrasse restaurant is the city’s summer hot spot, where locals and guests flock to mingle over light meals, cocktails and spectacular views from canopy covered tables.

The hotel offers 119 rooms, including 27 junior suites and 18 suites. While offering the ultimate in comfort, luxury and privacy, the rooms and suites have been equipped with every, yet hardly noticeable technical refinement. The large, luxuriously appointed marble bathrooms with separate shower and toilet, heated floor and daylight match up to the highest demands of comfort, design and equipment.

The Dolder Grand

The Dolder Grand is a city resort that beautifully merges past and future. Perched above Zurich, the fairy tale like castle building first served as a health spa, during the late 19th century. The spa comprises eighteen treatment rooms, separate areas for ladies and gentlemen, an aqua zone with views of the natural surroundings and a medical wellness center. The spa program focuses on spiritual health as well as pampering treatments. Accommodation rooms are scattered throughout the property, and all are timelessly decorated with stylish furnishings. Most striking is the hotel’s art collection with more than 100 artworks including pieces by Andy Warhol, Henry Moore and Salvador Dalí.
